- THE ROLLING STONES EP: 1964: 3 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. The first Stones release- 4 cover tunes on an EP.
- JOHN COLTRANE: GIANT STEPS:1960: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. Coltrane’s first album on Atlantic- was one of his biggest.
- JOHN FOGERTY: CENTERFIELD: 1985: 4 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. “The Old Man Down The Road” the leadoff track- had Fogerty sued for copying himself. Fogerty won the suit. This was his biggest solo album in popularity.
- PAUL MCCARTNEY AND WINGS: BACK TO THE EGG: 1979. 3 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. I liked this album a lot more back in 1979 than I do today. The final album Paul did with Wings. Uneven. My favorite song on the album is a Denny Laine song “Again and Again and Again.”
- MILES DAVIS: MILESTONES: 1958: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS.
