In 1974 Canadian Terry Jacks hit #1 with “Season’s In The Sun.” “Seasons In The Sun” was about a dog dying. It was an awful song. My sister who was like 7 years old at the time was obsessed with it. She got the single and would listen to it over and over and cry. I still have memories of walking by her room and hearing that song. Terry Jacks never had another hit.

When I think of “Season’s In The Sun” thought my greatest memory is that of Casey Kasem and his meltdown over the song. The song may have sent my sister into tears all those year ago but it does that today to me – tears of laughter every time I hear Casey’s Meltdown.
