The Beatles Song Of The Day is “Hello Goodbye” “Hello Goodbye” is on The Beatles “Magical Mystery Tour” album and was released as the a-side of a single with “I Am The Walrus” as the b-side. I agree with John Lennon on this- as far as “I Am The Walrus” being the b-side to “Hello Goodbye” “Can you believe it?”John always hated this song, written by Paul McCartney. “Hello Goodbye” did hit #1 believe it or not. I am not saying I don’t like this song but its lightweight and a foreshadowing of Paul McCartney’s weaker moments in his solo career. John Lennon: backing vocal, lead guitar and organ/ Paul McCartney: double-tracked vocal, backing vocal, piano, bass guitar, bongos and conga/ George Harrison: backing vocal and lead guitar/ Ringo Starr: drums, maracas and tambourine/ Kenneth Essex and Leo Birnbaum: violas. The song was recorded on October 2nd, 19th,25th and November 2nd, 1967 at Abbey Road. Producer :George Martin.
