Charles Manson Sentenced To Death In Tate/LaBianca Murders-This Day 1971

On this day in 1971 Charles Manson was given the death sentence for conspiracy to commit the Tate/LaBianca murders. His death was automatically commuted to life inprisonment when California got rid of the death penalty. Manson today is 78 years old and incarcerated at Corcoran State Prison.

The first “Helter Skelter” movie was outstanding and the book by the same name was also a great read. Highly recommended.
