The assassination of President Lincoln: at Ford's Theatre, Washington, D.C., April 14th, 1865

On this day in 1865 Abraham Lincoln was assassinated at Ford’s Theater in Washington, D.C. by actor John Wilkes Booth. Lincoln would be shot on the evening of April 14th, 1865 a Good Friday.
