The Vikings get the Seattle Seahawks first round pick as a result of the Percy Harvin trade. I think this trade came as a bit of a surprise to most Viking fans. I think they will address this issue here. Getting Greg Jennings via free agency is a help, but did they get a healthy Jennings? Austin will be long gone by this point, but there is a solid player to get here and that is DeAndre Hopkins.

Hopkins is a plus player here. He does not have tremendous size, or ridiculous speed, but he will be effective. With a healthy Jennings, and Hopkins, if Ponder can get the ball to them, it should give Peterson some breathing room to take another run at Dickerson, although no running back has gone over 2000 yards twice.
