Lou “The Toe” Groza was an odd combination of a Pro Football Hall of Famer who was an offensive tackle and a place-kicker. Groza played 21 seasons with the Cleveland Browns. He was a member of the first Browns team in 1946. He retired after the 1967 season. He was an All-Pro as a tackle for 6 seasons. He was an All-Pro for 9 total seasons. He played in 13 league title games in both the AAFC and NFL-winning 4 titles in each league. At the time of his retirement he was the all-time leading scorer in the NFL. His number is retired by the Browns and he was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1974.
