The great Frank Sinatra was born this day in 1915 in Hoboken, New Jersey. Frank Sinatra one of the greatest if not the greatest voice of the 20th century. Ol’ Blue Eyes, The Voice, The Chairman of the Board. I don’t know what to say about Sinatra that already hasn’t been said. I love his music especially during his years with Capital when he was in his prime. Frank was no boy scout, he could be an unsavory character but the stories of go both ways on him. He was capable of great acts of generosity. Sounds like a lot of people I know but Frank was huge so everything he did was magnified. The bottom line the man could sing.Sinatra, he was cool. I was lucky enough to see him in concert once late in his life. Early 1990’s in Pittsburgh. He was years past his prime but it was still the Great Sinatra. Frank Sinatra died in 1997 at the age of 82.
