Paul McCartney And Pete Best Arrested In Hamburg, Germany-This Day 1960

On this day in 1960, The Beatles Paul McCartney and Pete Best were arrested then deported from Hamburg, Germany after accusations of attemped arson. When The Beatles went to Hamburg this is when they started to really jell as a group. When they got back to Liverpool their fans couldn’t believe the change. Pete of course would be replaced by Ringo Starr aka Richard Starkey on the drums and the rest is history.
