Actor Larry Hagman died on Friday at the age of 81 due to throat cancer. Hagman, the son of actress Mary Martin was best known as J.R.Ewing in “Dallas.” I think of him as Major Tony Nelson in the 1960’s sitcom “I Dream Of Jeannie” I never watched an episode of “Dallas” not even the “Who Shot J.R.” episode but growing up I would watch “I Dream Of Jeannie” It was ok. In reading about him it was noted that he was introduced in the late 1960’s to L.S.D. by his friend David Crosby {the fact that David Crosby is alive and in his 70’s is proof enough to me that miracles happen} and Hagman was introduced to marijuana by Jack Nicholson. Hagman also appeared in numerous movies but he was best known for “Dallas” and “I Dream Of Jeannie” He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas and died- in Dallas.
