Orson Welles who created what most critics consider the greatest movie of all times- “Citizen Kane” died on this date in 1985 at the age of 70. Welles was only 26 years old when he co-wrote, directed, producted and performed the lead role in “Kane.” “Citizen Kane” was his masterpiece and although he did other quality work in his career it is “Citizen Kane” which he will be remembered most for. He was never able to top “Kane” But then again, no one has. I bet I’ve seen this movie a couple dozen times.  “Rosebud”
