First Place-11-5. Houston Texans. The Texans are coming off a 10-6 season and are now clearly the divisions best team. They should win this division with ease. I am seeing a number of expects predicting a super bowl appearance and some even a super bowl victory this year. This was once a really tough division but the Colts and Titans are rebuilding and the Jags have hit rock bottom. A key this season will be can Matt Schuab and Andre Johnson stay health? If history means anything it is doubtful that either will play all 16 games. Arian Foster may be the best running back in the league. One of the big additions last season that any team made wasn’t even the adding of a player- the Texans adding defensive coordinator Wade Phillips. He made a big difference. He may not have been that great of a head coach but like Dick LeBeau in Pittsburgh Wade is a defensive wiz. They have lost Mario Williams but he missed most of last year anyway. The Texans should go deep into the NFL tournament this season.

Second Place-Tennessee Titans.8-8 It still feels weird Jeff Fisher not coaching the Titans. Jake Locker takes over this year as QB. Hasselbeck had a fine year last year but they took Locker in the first round of the draft in 2011 and if you take a QB in round 1 you have to play him soon. I haven’t heard any crazy predictions out of Chris Johnson yet this year. He needs to bounce back. Kenny Britt needs to stay out of jail.{His prison stats won’t count in most fantasy leagues} The Titans are still rebuilding. This team isn’t anything special but someone has to finish in second place. They are average. I think they played above themselves last year.

Third Place- 5-11 Indianapolis Colts. No more Peyton Manning. They were awful last year when he couldn’t play. They made the right move, it is hard to part with a legends who has meant so much to your franchise but time marches on and with the #1 pick Andrew Luck had to be taken and Manning had to go. You can’t be paying millions and millions to two QB’s. Luck needs to play. They were smart by giving him some offensive toys to play with also-adding tight end Coby Flenner in the draft. This is going to take a few years but the Colts hit rock bottom last year and are starting their rebound, with a new front office, a new head coach and a new franchise quarterback. And my prediction is Andrew Luck will be better and play longer than Bob Griffin III will.

Fourth Place- Jacksonville Jaguars.2-14 This may be the worst team in the NFL. [even worse than Cleveland!} Maurice Jones-Drew did finally report just before the season starts. I am reading all these reports about Rashad Jennings. He may have done great in the pre-season but pre-season is..pre-season. Jones-Drew was the leading rusher in the league on a crappy team. Blaine Gabbert has about as much business being an NFL starting QB as Brandon Weeden does. He was a reach in the first round last year by a desperate team looking for a QB. Justin Blackmon was the top receiver in the draft. If they can get him the ball he will do well. The Jags defense isn’t what it once was. This team is awful. No one cares about them in Jacksonville. A good candidate to be playing in Los Angeles or London in the near future.
