The Jacksons’ 1984 “Victory Tour” broke the record for concert ticket sales, passing the 1.1. million ticket mark on this day in 1984.  Riding the tide of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” the Jacksons would tour from July 6th until December 9th. They would make a then record $75 million gross on that tour. 55 concerts in the United States and Canada. When all was said and done 2 million people saw the Jacksons on their “Victory Tour”
