From the visitor’s center at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon we walked the 2.5 miles on the Rim Trail to The Village. You can ride a bus there but we wanted to see the views of the Grand Canyon along the way. It was an over 100 degree day but it was just hot-no humidity out there so it was a nice walk with a lot of great views along the way. The Rim Trail is also very level. An easy trail to walk. It took us a couple hours to get to the village. We were making a lot of stops to view the canyon and take pictures.
