  1. wait – i am going to have to hear an explanation on nomar and vizquel at level 2. and i dont know about ozzie smith and barry larkin at level 3.
banks i could see at level 5 based on power stats.
i think that all of these have been spot on so far, this is a difficult position to rate, because of fielding and things, but a lot of these light hittting guys have other intangibles.

    • Banks didn’t do much in his 30’s to me that keeps him off level 5..do you think oz and larkin are ranked too high or low? same with Nomar and Omar V.. Nomar for a brief period of time was one of the best players in baseball.. i thought that had to mean something..and Omar outside of Ozzie greatest defensive shortstop and he did come close to 3000 hits…although he played forever..

  2. understood on banks
i think ozzie and larkin are one level too high, but i can see your thoughts as well – neither of them ever really impressed me. good guys – good teammates, just my opinion.
i agree that nomar was really sick there for a few years.

    keep up the good work

    • i am still evauluating Charlie Kerfeld’s resume..tough call there……i was never that big on larkin either but some are…
