Under The Covers: Other Artists Covering Beatles Songs: ‘Doctor Robert’- John Lennon’s song about the dentist who turned The Beatles on to LSD. From what I could find there wasn’t a single cover of this song recorded until 2006- 40 years after The Beatles released it on Revolver. Here is the only artists I have ever heard of- who recorded the song- and there are only a handful of covers of ‘Doctor Robert’- by Andrew Gold of’ Thank You For Being A Friend’ fame.
