Not a fan at all of REO Tricycle but- one thing I do admire is how they stuck with it- it wasn’t until their 9th album in 1980- a decade into their recording career that they really hit it big. This was their second and final #1- “Keep On Loving You’ was the first back in 1980.
I knew some people who really liked them before that album…I guess I can’t blame them for going commercial after touring all through the seventies.
My girlfriend in high school was really into them so I got exposed to them – more the early 80s stuff. I actually liked some of their earlier stuff – from “you can tune a piano but you can’t tuna fish”
I didn’t mind ‘Riding The Storm Out’
I loved them until this album. I did like ‘One Lonely Night’ on this album.
