The first of three Hot 100 and two Top 40 hits by The 8th Day- an R&B group from Detroit. ‘She’s Not Just Another Woman’ was recorded in 1968 by Steve Mancha the lead singer of 100 Proof Aged in Soul- after the song became a hit producer Ronnie Dunbar created a group that featured Melvin Davis as lead singer. The song was produced by Motown legends- Holland- Dozier- Holland.
