My Ear Work For The Day. ‘When We’re Singin’- The Partridge Family. This has really been the song playing in my head not for today- but off and on since the weekend. Saturday morning I binged watched ten episodes of The Partridge Family- and the theme song for season 1- “When We’re Singin” has entered my brain and won’t leave. Its starting to annoy me. I’ve always kind of liked The Partridge Family- for the interplay between Danny and their manager- Reuben Kincaid [ why isn’t Reuben in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame I ask?} and of course one of my first crushes- Susan Dey.

My earworms last couple of days have been all Steely Dan. Came to realization tonight that this Gen x-er now prefers ‘yacht rock’ online station to the ’90s alt’ one.
Now Steely Dan isn’t something I’d protest having in my head..

yes it is- and again i confess- guilty pleasure- The Partridge Family. I liked it as a kid- and still do. Reuben Kincaid the 2nd greatest rock and roll manager after Brian Epstein- he should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!
