Duran Duran’s 11st single- and first to reach #1- they would have one other #1- ‘A View To A Kill.’ While I wasn’t a big fan of Duran Duran I do think they have a number of other songs that were better than the two that hit the top. Overall they would have 22 Hot 100 singles with 15 making the Top 40. I can’t think of a band that got a bigger boost from appearing on MTV- than Duran Duran. My favorite song of theirs by the way didn’t even make the Top 40- ‘[Reach Up For The] Sunshine- #89 in 2004.
