Another song from Rubber Soul- a Lennon-McCartney song- written by Paul McCartney about his then girlfriend Jane Asher. Steve Earle who is a big time Beatles fan- covered it on his Train-A Comin’ album- an album that would be the first album he released in years after battling drug addition in the early to mid 1990’s. It is never a surprise to me when Steve drops a Beatles or Stones cover into one of his concerts.
