Under The Covers: Other Artists Covering Beatles Songs:’ We Can Work It Out’- Sam And Dave. A few weeks back I featured the Stevie Wonder remake of this song which is fantastic. I didn’t want to repeat myself- and there are many covers of the song- the great soul men Sam and Dave covered the song in 1976.

Sounds better than I thought it would. Nice cover!
I love Sam & Dave, though I didn’t know this cover and anticipated something a bit more upbeat. It doesn’t exactly have the dynamic of “Soul Man” or “Hold On, I’m Comin'”. Still, I like their soulful take and that they made it their own.
