This is something a little different from The Chi-Lites were are best known for hit ballads like “Have You Seen Her” and “Oh Girl.” An R&B vocal group from Chicago led by Eugene Record from 1969-75 they had 23 Hot 100 singles with 5 making the Top 40. Their biggest hit was the #1 ‘Oh Girl’ from 1972. They were more successful on the R&B charts with 43 hit singles.
