Tin Tin was a pop duo from Australia- they keyboardist later wrote “Hard Habit To Break’ which was a hit for Chicago- and one the huge Olivia Newton-John #1- “Physical.” Tin Tin had 2 Hot 100 hits- this one ‘Toast And Marmalade For Tea’ was the only one to make the Top 40.
Forgot all about that one – remembered when I played video. Cheers 🙂
I would have to give an A on the title alone lol…
While I’m aware of “A Hard Habit to Break,” which just about perfectly sums up Chicago’s unfortunate infatuation with generic ballads in the ’80s, and “Physical”, I had never heard of Tin Tin and “Toast and Marmalade for Tea”.
