Hans I so hope you are right. It’s been so long since a back to back championship has happened. With Seager in his last year before free agency…I think he will be a monster if he doesn’t get hurt. I’ve said this 2 years in a row but I’ve never seen a Dodger team this stacked but anything can happen.
The Braves are the ones I most worry about…
Well hard to argue with your overall assessments except TB. Granted I’ m partisan & hope Toronto meet most expectations & come 2nd, but even if TB get a wild card no way could I imagine them getting to ALCS…to me they look like a bad 4th place club but since they do frequently overachieve, I maybe put them at about 83-79, 3rd.
Weird year in that 2 best teams are probably both NLWest.
You think the Bucs winning the Super Bowl will have an effect on the Rays?
and the NHL team won the Stanley Cup… it might be a long shot pick but I just don’t see the Yankees pitching coming through in the post season.
It would cause me physical pain if the Dodgers win the World Series again, but I suppose it’s very likely to happen. I don’t see the Nationals finishing ahead of the Mets, though.
Lets go for another ring! #gododgers!
The Dodgers have some serious competition this season. Go Padres!
Hans…I’m going to do one of these tomorrow…Lord help us all…I’m never good at these. Everyone is up on the Yankees but Judge and Stanton never get through a season without being hurt…but yea I see them winning the division.
who misses major time first- Stanton or Judge?
You can almost flip a coin…I would guess Stanton just because he is a little older. Also they are relying on a lot from their starting pitching after Cole. Kluber if he is right…would be great…but if is the key word.
I can’t believe they didn’t go out to improve their pitching- you mentioned Kluber is a big if at this point- Talilon- has had 2 Tommy John surgeries.. I think they will win the division because they just have so much talent- but come post-season- I see another failure.
I’m with you on that. It’s crazy to invest that much in Cole and to surround him with question marks…I don’t see much depth in their starting rotation.
Yea I do see them winning but that weakness will get them…unless everything goes right and if you are the Yankees…you should not have to worry about that.
