This was the 3rd #1 hit since April of 1981 for Daryl Hall and John Oates. Pretty impressive. It was the second #1 from the Private Eyes album-the title track – ‘Private Eyes” had been #1 in November 1981- then Olivia Newton-John’s “Physical” for 10 weeks than back to Hall and Oates- kind of Bee Gees like. They would have another #1 in 1982- ‘Maneater’-
