The theme song from the movie Arthur- which starred Dudley Moore and Liza Minnelli- won the Oscar for Best Original Song in 1981. Christopher Cross was still riding high on the pop charts at this point in time. Cross had 8 Top 40 hits in a row from 1980-83 with 2 #1’s ‘Sailing’ 1980 and this one. Cross was born Christopher Gepert in San Antonio, Texas in 1951. Cross is still active his last album release was in 2017.

I am not a huge fan but his music I do find relaxing.
Like John said… VERY “easy listening” but I do like this one a lot as well as “Sailing” and “ride Like the Wind.”
It’s a pleasant easy listening pop tune. I like some of Cross’s music.
