“Dream Baby [ How Long Must I Dream] was a #4 hit for Roy Orbison back in 1962- and it remains the ‘go to’ version of the song. Glen Campbell at least on the pop charts was starting to stagnate- he wouldn’t have another Top 40 hit for four years- until he burst back with his big #1 “Rhinestone Cowboy” in 1975.
A nice cover, but Campbell doesn’t really bring anything new to the song that Orbison didn’t already excel at.
He actually sounds a lot like Orbison!
