The Grass Roots were a pop rock band formed in Los Angeles. From 1966-75 they had 21 Hot 100 singles with 14 Top 40 hits. Their biggest hit was “Midnight Confessions”- #5 in 1968.
Catchy tune. The Grass Roots were a lightweight pop band but Rob Grill was an excellent vocalist.
