Whenever I heard that intro to You Give Love A Bad Name I would practically rip the knob off the radio trying to change the channel…
I saw the Turtles around 86 or 87 at a ball park and they announced “We don’t play this crap” and started that song but then stopped and said…”we play this crap” and started in on their music .
I never understood the popularity of Bon Jovi.
And the sometimes comparisons to Bruce made me laugh.
They both come from New Jersey.. end of comparison.
They had exactly one good song: “Livin’ On A Prayer”. All the rest sounded the same.
I agree- I never got it- their popularity. There was another song I kind of liked but its escaping me at the moment- and I am feeling too tired to look it up– the fact i can’t recall the name of it I guess tells you it wasn’t all that great afterall.
