Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds- were not one hit wonders- they had 3 Top 40 hits in the early 70’s but this is the one that is still played on the radio- a #1 hit. Their other big hit was “Don’t Pull Your Love.” In 2010 Playboy Enterprises sued Drake for copyright infringement for his hit “Best I Ever Had”- for sampling “Fallin’ In Love” without attribution or permission.
I love this song so much I get chills.
So nostalgic!
I fell madly in love that summer, so this song really resonated with me.
a great song that still holds up well. I still find it funny it was put out by Playboy!
