• The troubles continued in Canada with the Quebec problem- Quebec Labour Minister Pierre Laporte who was kidnapped earlier in the week was murdered by his captors with a single gunshot to the head. The body was found in the trunk of an automobile in the early morning hours of Sunday at Lonhuruil near the Saint-Hubert Airport outside of Montreal.
