Stevie Wonder’s 4th chart topper in the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart and his 10th #1 on the soul chart. The ‘doo da wop” in the background-sung by the Jackson Five. The song was aimed at POTUS Richard Milhous Nixon-maybe that was the final straw The Tricky One resigned two days after “You Haven’t Done Nothin'” was released.
Great tune by Mr. Wonder.
Such was his talent then that I consider it one of his lesser singles if the decade…but would still give it an ‘ A’ rating.
That was Stevie at his best.
