The theme song from the movie The Poseidon Adventure- it won an Oscar for Best Original Song in 1973. It was her first hit- she would only have one more- in 1979 she went to #18 with “Different Worlds”- another theme song- this one to the television show Angie.

Good point- I wonder if it would have even made the Top 40 without the movie connection?
I love this song. I always thought she had a wonderful voice…her and Mary McGregor. I used to get them confused when I was younger.
