Buddy Miles was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1947- and died at the age of 60 in 2008. He was an R&B singer/ drummer and noted session musician. He was with Wilson Pickett 1965-66, a part of Michael Bloomfield’s Electric Flag in 1966 and in Jimi Hendrix’s Band Of Gypsys 1969-70. He had 10 Hot 100 singles none of them made the Top 40. This is a cover of a great Neil Young song.
Not bad!
