R&B singer and saxophonist Junior Walker was born Autry DeWalt -Mixon in Blythesville, Arkansas in 1931. He died of cancer at 64 in 1995. From 1965-73 Junior Walker & The All-Stars had 21 Hot 100 hits with 12 reaching the Top 40. Their biggest hit was their first- “Shotgun” #4 in 1965. ‘Do You See My Love [ For You Growing} was their final Top 40 hit.
