Hans Remembers- Friday July 24, 1970- 50 Years Ago.

- Philip J. Lucier the president of Continental Telephone Company- -which is now Contel- and at the time the 3rd largest telephone corporation in the U.S. had gone to lunch with two of the companies vice-presidents in Clayton, Missouri- a suburb of St. Louis – and was preparing to back his 1966 Cadillac out of the parking lot when a bomb that was placed under his car below the driver’s seat exploded killing the 49 year old executive.
