Jack Wild was born in Manchester, England in 1952. He is most known as a child actor- as The Artful Dodger in “Oliver” and Jimmy in H.R. Pufnstuf. He recorded one album in 1970- and this was his only chart single in the U.S. He had a tragic adult life which ended with his death in 2006 at the age of 53 from cancer.
