Eric Burdon was the front man for The Animals. He made two albums with War in the early 70’s. War was a Latin-funk rock band from Long Beach, California. From 1970-82 they had 16 Hot 100 singles and 12 Top 40 hits. Their biggest hit was #2 “The Cisco Kid” in 1973.
