Song Of The Day Challenge- Day 9- A Song That Makes You Dance- “Modern Love”- David Bowie. As Frank Zappa sang in “Dancin’ Fool” “I don’t know much about dancin”- so this particular day of the challenge was a difficult selection. Just not a dancer. When I started thinking on it- David Bowie’s biggest commercial album Let’s Dance- came to mind and the I thought the most danceable song on that album was “Modern Love’ so without overthinking it I will go with that as my choice.

Great song and indeed it does make you want to dance.
A great song from a great album, and funny that ‘Modern Love’ is a better dance song than ‘Let’s Dance’.
Bowie wanted to make a big selling popular album and went out and did it! It reminded me somewhat of The Joshua Tree- the best songs as I recall on side 1. Rest of the album was fine also.
