Diana Ross’s first single release after leaving The Supremes and it was a disappointment as far as its failure on the charts- they expected higher than #20. Diana Ernestine Ross was born in 1944 in Detroit. As the leader of The Supremes who had a dozen #1 hits she became a big star- and would go on to have six more #1 hits on her own- 1970′ “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, ‘1973 “Touch Me In The Morning”, 1975″ Theme From Mahogony”,1976-“Love Hangover”, 1980 “Upside Down” and finally a duet with Lionel Train Richie “Endless Love” in 1981.
