The hits just kept rolling for John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival in the late 60’s -early 70’s. This was another outstanding double A’ sided Top 5 single for them. They had 20 Hot 100 hits in their brief career- 17 of those making the Top 40. They had 5 singles get to #2 -without ever having hit #1. These two songs were on their most celebrated album- Cosmos Factory.

Two good ones. I clearly remember them playing “Up Around the Bend” for music on the Himalaya carnival ride. It made the spin all the better.
You keep posting CCR, you’ll never get rid of me. These songs still sound fresh to me.
You are right- CCR never grows old. Some of that music from the era does- CCR fresh as it was released yesterday.
