The great John Prine who is battling coronavirus at the moment. The latest update from his wife is he is very ill and has developed pneumonia in both lungs and is still on a ventilator.
“Spanish Pipedream” from his greatest album- his self-titled debut from 1971- had some great advice that I am trying to follow in these terrible times. While I am not going to actually blow up my television I am trying to turn it off as much as possible. I know the news isn’t going to be good for a while.

I’ve been lucky enough to have seen him over the years a few times too- I agree. Wishing him a fast recovery. A national treasure.
