- WINGS: VENUS AND MARS: 1975: 3 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: VINYL ALBUM: Coming after Band On The Run this is a disappointment- a lot of mediocre songs on this album- there was a 1 hit- and I like it “Listen To What The Man Said” but while very radio friendly hardly a classic. The album also went to #1. How many of these songs could have made the Band On The Run album? This album would look a lot better a year later when Wings At The Speed Of Sound came out.
CSN 1977 was a good album, much anticipated following the seven-year gap after Déjà Vu. Stills’ “Run From Tears” was one of my favorite cuts.
