I love trivia. Thought I”d throw about now and then some presidential trivia. Feel free to answer- no cheating! Since this is Part I- I will throw out some fairly easy ones.
1- Who is the only POTUS who was sworn in west of the Mississippi River?
2- Who was the only POTUS who never got married?
3- What POTUS was born Leslie King Jr?
4- What POTUS lived the longest?
5-Name the four assassinated POTUS?
1. Lyndon Baines Johnson took the oath of office on Air Force One in Dallas, Texas.
2. James Buchanan
3. Gerald Ford
4. Jimmy Carter
5. Abraham Lincoln, James A. Garfield, William McKinley and John F. Kennedy.
All Correct We have a winner!
Dang, I snoozed I loozed. Jim are you a history buff? I already know Hans is. Comments on answers: 1. When JFK got shot, they swore Johnson in right then and there? 3. Why did Ford change his name? 4. Dang, Jimmy Carter 95 years plus. Amazing! 5. I’m embarrassed to say I never knew about the “other two” assassinated POTI.
LBJ was swore in on the plane in Dallas before they left to come back to DC… Ford’s father was Leslie King- as a child his parents divorced and she remarried Gerald Ford when he was 3- and his name was changed to that of his new fathers…
Aha! Interesting about Ford.
Makes me feel like that show “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” and the answer generally is…no. No, I am not, lol !!!
I only remembered Kennedy and Lincoln getting assassinated, couldn’t recall the others. I knew Carter was REALLY old but had no idea about the other questions.
Well you weren’t around for the Garfield and McKinley assassinations- you got an excuse! … We have had a number of old living POTUS of later- Carter currently but living into their 90’s Ford, Dutch Reagan, George H.W. Bush.
Yeah, and those kids don’t have jobs, have to pay bills, drive on the freeway, and worry about everything–of COURSE they have room left in their brains to remember all that stuff, right? LOL
What do you mean by Dutch Reagan?
Reagan was one of the recent ones who lived into his 90’s- Dutch was his old Hollywood nickname.
