Sweet Soul Music Of The 70’s- ‘I Believe {When I Fall In Love It Will Be Forever}- Stevie Wonder.

Whenever I hear this song I think of the movie High Fidelity which featured a great soundtrack- at the end of the movie ‘I Believe” ran over the closing credits. From Stevie Wonder’s Talking Book released in the fall of 1972- “I Believe” wasn’t released as a single-it was the final song on the album. The album featured two Stevie smashes- “Superstition” and “You Are The Sunshine Of My Life”-both singles went to #1- Stevie’s first #1 since “Fingerprints” back in 1963. Stevie’s classic period- which began with the previous album Music Of My Mind- which was released in the spring of 1972- was now underway.  It’s hard to believe that Stevie at this point was only 22 years old.
