I wrote about this song a few weeks back on the date that it was written and recorded. One of John Lennon’s greatest songs.  In his short solo career – John Lennon had 17 Hot 100 Singles with 13 making the Top 40. He had 2 #1’s- “Whatever Gets You Thru The Night” 1974 and “Just Like Starting Over” 1980.
