The Isley Brothers had 3 Hot 100 singles in 1970-none of which made the Top 40. The R&B-rock-funk trio of brothers formed in Cincinnati. Their biggest hit was “It’s Your Thing” #2 1969- their most famous song- ‘Twist And Shout”#17 1962- covered by The Beatles famously the next year, The Beatles greatest cover. The Isley Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.
