The Angels were a female pop trio from Orange, New Jersey. They had six Billboard Hot 100 singles from 1961-64 with four of those making the Top 40- but the only one anyone remembers from them is “My Boyfriend’s Back.”  One of the musicians who played on this song- was a young Ronnie James Dio on horns.
