The Dells were an R&B vocal group formed at their high school in Harvey, Illinois in 1953.. They had 24 Hot 100 hits and 47 R&B chart hits. Their biggest hit was 1968’s “Stay In My Corner” #10. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004. Member Johnny Carter is a two time Rock and Roll Hall inductee having also gone in as a member of The Flamingos.
